League play went by pretty quickly, with Jack and Manny going undefeated, though Edan and Corey took down the bracket. Afterward Corey and David G just couldn't seem to miss a cup, and played a pretty damn good finals game before David took it down.

League Page    Singles Bracket

With the hiatus in place, we were forced to move back into houses for the time being just to keep pong alive! With such a high concentration of skilled teams, many were surprised to see Jeremy and Beth in the finals undefeated. They had to defeat David & Goliath, 10 Inches, and Ted and Andy to secure the win. In the end they did just that.

Bracket

The first night of league play at our new venue was a great success. Though I have some doubts about the software we are using, the format seems to be enjoyable to all. In the end Cheech 7 Pong and No Chance were the only undefeated teams, but Burque Bombers proved the true victors, taking down the bracket.

When Edan showed up without a partner many of us gave a sigh of relief, thinking he'd have to carry someone to make it very far. Fortunately for him, Manny showed up solo as well, and they paired to the chagrin of everyone else. Burque Bombers and 10 Inches made valient efforts to take the two down, but they just couldn't be stopped.

Bracket

There was little doubt as to who would win the randoms when AJ and Edan ended up paired, but PeeWee and Mikael Ann made a good attempt at stopping them. In the singles Gabe and David G played an exciting finals match, which Gabe ultimately took down.

PeeWee made a good run in both events tonight. He first took his random partner Jordan Zachary to the finals for his first 1st, then he took on Edan in the finals of the singles tournament. PeeWee took the first round, but he couldn't stop Edan's singles run.
