Edan surprised everyone by showing up at Fox for the first time, playing with Corey. They took it to the finals before losing to Gabe and Jeremy. In the singles Beth beat Jeremy for the first time 1 on 1, and AJ came out of nowhere to take second against Edan.

Doubles Bracket    Singles Bracket

Beth and Jeremy finally had a good night playing on the same team, going undefeated to the winners bracket finals before losing to Ted and Gabe. They went to the finals, and put in a valient effort in the finals against Never Up Never In. The game went quad-OT, and it seemed like the game would never end. Finally, though, the last cup was made and ABQ's Finest were unable to take it to 5OT. Congrats Gabe and Ted.

Jeremy finally got back on his feet in the singles game, taking down the first tournament of the night undefeated. Of course, Gabe decided to play in the second one, and ended up giving Jeremy his only two defeats for the night.

John Dubois stepped up his solo game at the 32-man singles, and took it all the way to 4th, losing to Andy just before Andy bowed out to David Glaser. This set the stage for one of the best singles finals in SWBP history between Glaser and Edan. Both games were incredibly close, with 2 and 3 ball rebuttals. Since returning from the Series, Glaser's been a beast, and he succeeded in double dipping Edan for the win.

Gabe is running stupid since the Series, and took down the doubles tournament at Fox (giving Ryan her first stat tournament win in the process!). Mr. Montoya then went on to destroy the singles tournament, denying his partner Clawless in the finals.

Singles Bracket

The week off from pong after the Series was a necessary one, for most of us suffering the annual pong flu. 24 teams turned out to at our return to Coaches, nearly half of which were new players! Notable mention goes to Shannon and Elyse, who took down such teams as 33rd in the Series 10 Inches Soft (by 6 cups no less!). In the end John and Gabe took down the unlikely finalists Lou and Ryan.
