June 30th @ Spectators - Doubles League
What a strange night. After prelims it was the usual suspects at the top, with No Chance, 10 Inches, and Cheech and Pong leading the way. But the bracket was a different story. PeeWee was on a mission and proved it by shooting near perfect all the way to the finals. Half Baked earned their spot knocking out No Chance before facing PeeWee and Beth. Though it took all three games, Beth finally got another 1st under her belt.

June 28th @ Coaches - Doubles
It seems summertime is the best time for pong in ABQ. 26 teams showed up at Coaches for our experiment with the new tourny format. At the end of the round robin, Cheech&Pong and TNT (made up of retiree Ted Wallace and EP's Tony Vigil) were the only undefeated teams. It didn't matter though, because at the end, it was 10 Inches facing Straight Outta Pongton in the finals. 10 Inches pulled off the double dip for the win.

While Jeremy and PeeWee had been shooting well in the round robin, they absolutely crumbled when it came to round 1 of bracket. Spana Boys finally made last cup to end the suffering of those watching the game. In the end Edan and Corey faced David and Sonny, and Sonny's trash talk all week came up short, as Cheech and Pong took their second league night in a row.

June 21st @ Coaches - Multi-Partner
Damn I love Coaches! A record 48 teams turned out for our multi-partner event, making for a very long night of pong. These things are so confusing it's hard to point out the highlights. Gabe took AJ and Eric to 5th and 3rd, and Sonny took 1st and 2nd while his partners, David and Jeremy, battled it out in the finals 1v1. David took it down.

June 17th @ Spectators - WSOBP VII Satellite Tournament
What is going on Albuquerque? Only 18 teams turn out for a World Series satty? And five of those teams are from different states? I'm a little dissapointed in you. Still though, where there's beer pong, there's good times, and this was no exception...

June 16th @ Spectators - Doubles League
19 teams for week 1 of the league? Not bad Albuquerque, not bad at all. After prelims there were four 4-0 teams, making a good first hit in league stats. In the finals it was No Chance against Cheech and Pong, after which the latter emerged undefeated.

June 14th @ Coaches - Doubles
The Summer season is in full swing, and Coaches is the place to be Tuesday night! Glaser and Edan teamed up, and the seemingly powerful pair ended with a surprising 1-2 record after getting knocked out by Guy and Flippo shooting an uncharacteristic 10-11 game. The finals saw Gotta Get Involved facing No Chance in the longest SWBP finals to date (topping out at 34 minutes). No Chance ended the marathon with the W.
